UPM is introducing a handy new electronic way to approve the Delivery Certificate documents required for intra-community deliveries from Germany.

A delivery certificate is required by German tax authorities to prove the recipient has actually received the goods in another EU country and is thus entitled to 0% VAT.

Up to now, confirmation of goods arrival has been done manually by sending mails, but now it can be done conveniently with just a few clicks by approving the Delivery Certificates online. This service is now available via UPM’s extranet UPM Customer Online.

“We are excited to be able to offer this service to our customers. In addition to being able to view and approve Delivery Certificates, the customer now has easy access to their business information, and can order unprinted samples,” says Mikko Torkkeli, Global Process Owner, Customer Service for UPM Paper ENA.
