All waste generated is reused, either as such or after further processing. The largest waste fraction is ash from power plants. A significant portion of ash is used for soil improvement mainly in crop fields. Other significant reuse application is construction: ash is used in road base to replace natural stone material and improve the load-bearing capacity and frost resistance of the road. Waste generated at the mills is carefully separated into different fractions which are then reused as raw materials or for energy.
