The UPM Kaukas paper mill is located in Lappeenranta, Finland, some 220 kilometers from Helsinki. Founded in 1975, the mill employs 230 people and is part of the integrated UPM Kaukas mill site - a unique bio-forestry unit that produces pulp, magazine paper, sawn timber, advanced biofuels and energy from renewable raw materials.
