Integral part of everyday actions
Managing water resources efficiently and responsibly is an integral part of our everyday actions. All our process waters are thoroughly cleaned and effluent quality is regularly monitored.
In the papermaking process, we are continuously searching for new and unique ways to further reduce water usage. Today, UPM mills need only half of water they needed 15 years ago to produce 1 kg of paper.
